Altan makes it easy to bring your existing work into the platform — whether it’s code from GitHub or UI designs from Figma. This lets you build faster without starting from scratch.
You can directly import any project from Lovable into Altan. By doing that, you will create an exact clone of the project in Lovable on your Altan account. Here's a quick tutorial on how to do it:Here's a step by step guide:
The first step is to connect your Lovable project to your GitHub. You can do that by clicking the GitHub icon on the project page and clicking "Connect GitHub".
Once your project is connected, you can go to the GitHub page of the project by clicking the link generated:
Then, we must make sure that the project's visibility is set to "Public". You can change it by going to your project's settings, scrolling down, and changing the field "Change repository visibility" to "Visible".
You can now upload the link to Altan. To do that, you just have to go to Altan's main page, click the "+" icon, and select the "GitHub Repository" option.
You can just paste your github project url and click "Add repository".
You can just type a simple prompt like "Do nothing" and click the "Generate" button. Just like that, your project will be imported into Altan and ready to be modified as you want!
You can import any public or private GitHub repository directly into Altan. Simply: • Click the “+” icon on the input group • Select “GitHub Repository” • Paste the repository link • You’re ready to start building on top of it
Our new Figma import feature allows you to turn your UI designs into ready-to-use components within Altan. To get early access to this feature, just reach out to the Altan team (david@altan.ai), and we’ll enable it for your account right away.
